Terms & club rules

SECRET LEVEL is a computer club with twenty stations. Booking a seat or walking through the shelf means you're happy to play by the house rules on this page.

Hours & getting in

We open early afternoon and run late — 2pm to 2am on weeknights, 2pm to 6am on Friday and Saturday, and 4pm to midnight on Sunday. The bookshelf door in the courtyard is the only entrance. The weekly password is a bit of fun; forgetting it never keeps you out. Anyone acting in good faith gets a station.

Booking & seats

Reservations run through the form on the home page and never require the password. We hold your seat for a reasonable grace period after your chosen time; if you're running very late, a quick message keeps it warm. Walk-ins are welcome whenever a station is free. Rates are charged by the hour, the evening block, or the weekend lock-in, as listed on the home page.

Conduct on the floor

Keep it friendly. This is a shared room, so mind your volume, mind your neighbours, and settle disputes with a rematch, not a scene. We ask everyone to respect staff and other guests; behaviour that spoils the night for others ends the session. Scores, ranks and leaderboards here are about skill and time only — there's nothing to wager and nothing to cash in.

The gear

Every station is set up and ready; please treat it that way. Report a wobbly chair, a dead key or a flickering screen and we'll swap you over. You're welcome to bring your own headset, keyboard or mouse and plug straight in. Please don't install software, reconfigure the machines, or open anything up — if something's off, the staff will sort it faster than you can.

Food, drink & care

Drinks with lids near the desks, snacks at the counter or the lounge tables. Spills happen; tell us early so nothing important gets sticky. Look after your own belongings — lockers are there for a reason — and help us keep the place tidy for whoever sits down next.

Changes

We may tweak these rules or our hours as the club grows; the current version always lives here. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your booking details, or return to the home page.
